Day 4, Christchurch.

It's Sunday and the day started early. The first service began at 9 a.m. and was for the leadership of the church, a few hundred people. Second service began at 11 am. By the time the awesome, wonderful worship service was over, and the special song and the drama, it was already noon. Ron preached his usual 1 hour and we were in the cafe having lunch by 1:30. Great services, both. Ron preached on "Imagination" and was really well received. He did good! We relaxed for the afternoon and then went to dinner with Bob and Elizabeth to a great Thai place and then coffee outdoors at The Palms mall. The weather was supposed to have been very hot, they predicted 34, which loosely translated was about 98 degrees F, but it didn't get that warm. But the evening weather was perfect! We enjoyed that so much, we sat and visited until dark and then walked the 1 block back the Murray's house where we are staying. It was so nice. I've been inspired to go back home and plant sprng bulbs and roses and etc. etc. I forget that it's still very cold at home, it's easy to forget that when it's so pleasant here. All in all, a great day with wonderful friends
